The program will include the screening of a series of Korean films and a concert by the band Canarro who play Korean film music.
The conference program will be part of the annual Pécs Summer Festival starting a week before the conference opening. The entire festival program rich in musical, theatrical, scientific and other cultural events will be organized and hosted by the town’s Cultural Centre in the new Zsolnay Cultural Quarter. (It will soon appear on their website: http://pecsikult.hu/hu/) So, anyone who decides to attend our program will be offered a great variety of choices in regional (the Balkan), national and local culture. The town at springtime becomes a lively Mediterranean place with many restaurants, bars, and famous sights (ancient, medieval and other monuments from Roman times and the Turkish occupation in the 16th and 17th c.) Plan your visit a bit longer and enjoy the town’s fascinating Spring atmosphere!
