Guidelines for Speakers

Papers at the 2011 SCSMI conference will be twenty-five minutes in length, followed by a twenty-minute question and answer period. The twenty-five-minute presentation time includes all audiovisual extracts.

Audiovisual equipment:

The lecture rooms are equipped with PC, projector, loudspeaker, and have internet connection.

On our PCs the following software are available: MS Windows XP, MS Office 2003/2007, MS Media Player Classic, and VLC player.

Please make sure that the DVDs you intend to use are “region 2” (Europe) or “region free”, and the VHS tapes are in PAL format.

If you use your own Macintosh please do not forget to bring your VGA Display Adapter (http://store.apple.com/us/product/M8639G/A) and Travel Plug Adapter (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB974ZM/B?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY).
