The new Call for Entries for the 2020 Documentary Campus Masterschool has been launched and we would greatly appreciate your support in spreading the word and sharing our Call with potentially interested media professionals among your friends and colleagues.

The Masterschool is an intensive ten-month training programme. It offers media professionals across Europe an excellent opportunity to access the international factual market and to develop new business strategies. Over the course of four workshops, 15 carefully selected European producer/director teams are assisted in developing, financing and marketing their factual based format for public release; be it the traditional TV market or new digital platforms. At the Leipzig Networking Days the teams then present their fully developed projects to leading commissioning editors, buyers, foundations and distributors from all over the world.
Together with our Head of Studies, Dr. Claudia Schreiner (former Head of Programme Culture & Science, MDR), we are looking for all types of factual content and formats: TV series, one-offs, creative docs, multi-platform, web or VR projects as well as animation films with international potential.
