In 2023, the ELTE Department of Film Studies joined the UniVerzió program of the Verzió Film Festival. During the fall semester, the students of the Human Rights in Contemporary Documentary Cinema course (Margitházi Beja) discussed and processed eight selected documentaries (Motherland, We Will Not Fade Away, What’s To Be Done?, Deep Rising, Golden Thread, Love is Not an Orange, Hawar, Our Banished Children, Fairy Garden / Fanni kertje). Hungarian and foreign ELTE students from various Eastern European, South American, European and Far Eastern countries took part in the international team.
