Visiting lecturer
Attila Varró received his degree at the Juhasz Gyula Teacher’s Training College in 1994 and he worked as an English teacher in a high school for three years and as a pedagogical assistant for 18 months. He has been working for the film magazine Filmvilag since 1998 as editor and columnist. He was teaching film analysis and review writing between 2000 and 2005 at the Vitéz János Roman Catholic Teacher’s Training College in Esztergom. He teaches contemporary film history to directors and cinematographers at the University of Theatre and Film and he gives courses in genre studies at the Department of Film Studies of Eötvös Lóránt University, Budapest.
