Bence Kránicz

KraniczBBence Kránicz is an Assistant Professor of Film Studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary. He writes and lectures on contemporary genre films, fantastical genres and studies in film criticism. He wrote his PhD thesis on dialogues of Hungarian film criticism from the period of early writings to 1944, and defended the thesis at the Film, Media and Culture Theory Doctoral Program of ELTE. As external lecturer, he also taught at Metropolitan University of Budapest, Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design and KREA Design School. His articles and essays have been published in Hungarian and English journals and books.
