Péter Lichter is an experimental filmmaker and filmcritic. He studied film history and film theory at ELTE University, Budapest. His films were screened at festivals and venues like: Berlin Critics’ Week; Tribeca Film Festival – New York; Rotterdam IFF; Jihlava IDFF; goEast – Wiesbaden; Cinema 16 – New York; EXiS – Seoul; CROSSROADS – San Francisco, and many others. He is also editor of the film-periodical Prizma, his first book on experimental cinema (A láthatatlan birodalom / The Invisible Empire) was published in 2016.
